Clear Mountain Organic Rooibos Tea is only cultivated in the Cedarberg Mountains about 250 km north of Cape Town, South Africa. Towards the end of the 19th century the people living in the area discovered that the fine, needle-like leaves of the bush Aspalathus Linearis made a refreshing hot drink.
Over time we have discovered that Rooibos Tea is a healthy substitute for ordinary tea, since it is caffeine-free and very low in tannin. It is rich in the “metabolic minerals” such as Iron, Zinc, Sodium, Copper and Potassium as well as the “bones minerals” Calcium and Manganese. It also contains fluoride in just the right amounts for children’s teeth.
Certified organic by ECOCERT.
Serving Suggestions: Rooibos teas are traditionally consumed hot with milk. If sweetening is required, we recommend a teaspoon of Honey. To pleasantly freshen the flavour, add a slice of fresh lemon. For maximum flavour, allow brewing for 3 to 5 minutes before removing the tea bag. Reduce brewing time for a milder flavour.
